Registered Midwives apply evidence-based research to maternal and neonatal care practices and participate in audits and maternal health studies. They provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, conduct safe deliveries, and manage obstetric emergencies. They monitor maternal and neonatal health indicators and implement infection prevention measures. They educate mothers and families on reproductive health, family planning, safe pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care, while advocating for maternal and child health at community and policy levels.
